Your First Appointment
We ask that you download and complete the patient forms on our website before your first appointment. If you are unable to complete the forms beforehand, please arrive at our Excelsior practice at least 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Our staff reviews all the information and explains any insurance coverage benefits and costs associated with your appointment.
The first appointment can take 30 to 60 minutes. You meet with a member of our team who can address your specific concerns. We learn about your medical history and symptoms. The appointment includes an initial examination, as well as x-rays and scans for chiropractic care. You may receive a treatment during the first appointment. Our front office staff takes care of payment, scheduling your next appointment, and any questions that you may have at that time. You can always call us if other questions or concerns arise.
Follow-Up Visits
Second and subsequent visits may last five to 60 minutes. We base the frequency of appointments and specific treatments in your individualized plan of care, as well as how your body responds to the therapies. When needed, we make referrals to other specialists.
Payments
Knewtson Health Group accepts all insurances, and we are “in network” for most. We also have affordable payment plans for people in the Excelsior community who do not want to use their insurance. We accept cash, checks, major credit cards, and CareCredit®, as well as Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
